And from this morning:

Snow started falling yesterday afternoon. I was able to teach my first hour and second hour of dance, but we decided to cancel the last class. Today has been declared a snow day for several of the schools and businesses. If you live on the East coast, snow days are probably no big news for you. However, here in Utah- snow is kinda our thing and we have to get quite a lot for them to declare an official snow day.
Sadly, Andy still had to go to work and I'm stuck at home for the day. I'm planning on using my time to dive in to school work and some books on my reading list. If I can get out of the driveway later on, I may take Ash out to play in the snow at the park or something. She really loves it.
Before I sign off for the weekend, I thought I'd share some of my favorite links from around the web with you.

**A very touching Illustrated Interview with Maurice Sendak-- author of Where The Wild Things Are. He talks about his views on life and death. (He passed away on May 8, 2012)
**Amy publishes an awesome list of things she'd like to remind herself in 2013.
**I always get feeling a bit frumpy in the winter time and in the light of being super sick last week, I liked Kayley's thoughts on Bouncing Back.
**Elise's difference between Goals and To Do List items- figuring it all out so you don't overwhelm yourself.
Stunning photos. I love that first shot.

These photos are beautiful. I am dying to do an outside snowy outfit post, but it's been too cold here to do that. Snow is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou totally should do one! I like your outfit posts. It's fun to get style ideas because I always feel like I get stuck in a rut with my clothing.
