January 14-20. Another great week for Project Life. Still playing a little bit of catch up here, but that's okay. Lots of little things going on in this weeks spread. I included a picture of the Little Love Bags that I made for my niece, Nellie. She called to say thanks and "Happy Valentines!" Super cute. My sister, Jen, said she was way excited and wanted to start opening them right away.

I decided to add a journaling card recording what I've been reading and watching lately. We really love Sherlock (the BBC version.) We've been watching it via Netflix. It's funny, witty, and clever. I love the guys that play Sherlock and Holmes. They are perfect.
There's also a picture of the pumpkin pie and pumpkin cookies that we made from our Halloween pumpkin.

You probably can't see her, but Ash is peeking between us in that picture of us sitting in the car. She goes pretty much everywhere with us and always rests her head right there between us.
Also on this side is a picture of a house that we toured. We've been trying to make a master 'wish list' of what we want in our next home. We're not unrealistic but there's nothing wrong with dreaming. We've been talking about the possibility of building a house in the future. Andy is super excited for the challenge of building our dream home and I think it would be really good for him. Not that I have the illusion that it would be easier or anything, but very rarely do I see Andy get this 'pumped' about a project or an idea. I love seeing him enthused.
We also had to get a new dishwasher as ours crapped out on us. We were able to find this one for a good deal and we're pretty happy with it so far. I tried a new brussel sprout recipe and it was amazingly good. Oven roasted with cheese, bacon, and french fried onions. Oh my gosh good!
Embellishments: I cut up one of the love bags and stuck it on top of a "Recorded" 3x4 card. I also add a small sticker and wrote "I See You" on it for the picture with Ash peeking through.
So typical life around here. Dreaming, scheming, trying new things. I love it.
Its so sweet that Ash does that. It's fun to dream and scheme new things. I enjoy it very much!!! I haven't watched that Sherlock show, I will look it up. I am pretty sure it has "suggested" it for us before.
ReplyDeleteYou'll love it!
DeleteMmm...pie! That looks really great! I love this project; it's such a great way to keep track of what's been going on in your life!
ReplyDeleteI agree. It's stopped me from having thousands of image files on my computer and never doing anything with them. Now I'll have my favorites all in one book.
